Justice’s interest in classical music recording began in college in the fall of 1998. As a work-study student with the TU School of Music, he was assigned the task of recording the recitals and large ensemble concerts for the department archives. In these early years he used a single stereo microphone and a MiniDisc recorder. Justice began working with multi-track DAWs in April 2002 when a close guitar player friend called to help him record some songs he had written. They spent a weekend recording in a bedroom and a closet in very rural eastern Oklahoma using Cool Edit Pro. In 2003, he began his formal recording education when he enrolled in a recording studio techniques class with another good friend at Tulsa Community College. Together they learned the ins and out of recording on a 4-track cassette recorder, as well as Protools HD. Justice has been a Protools user since the Protools LE 6 days in the Spring of 2004.

He specializes in recording live performances of classical, jazz and acoustic music groups of all sizes. He did his recording studio internships at TCC: PACE Studios with Jeff Markley and at Advanced Recording Concepts with Walt Bowers during the summer of 2006.

Justice has mixed and mastered live performances of both the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra and the Tulsa Opera for radio broadcast on KWTU Public Radio in Tulsa, Oklahoma and KUCO Public Radio in Edmond, Oklahoma.
